Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst with experience in credit and debit card management systems to perform functional analysis, define specifications, and support testing activities in a Mainframe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional analysis and prepare test documentation for projects related to the Credit and Debit Card Management System (SAC in Cobol / CICS).

• Identify and assess technical solutions, evaluating alternatives and recommending the most suitable approach.

• Prepare and validate functional specifications for software, components, and interfaces, following established standards and principles.

• Define, execute, and monitor functional tests, including user support during acceptance phases.

• Diagnose incidents and suggest improvements or corrections.

• Monitor assigned activities and coordinate with other teams to ensure project completion.

• Promote effective communication between stakeholders and contribute improvement suggestions.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience with credit and debit card management systems (preferably SAC).

• Knowledge of the SIBS protocol within the Multibanco system (GRT transactions, H-to-H, clearing).

• Understanding of banking accounting related to card operations.

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Essential technical experience (10+ years):

  • COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, Control-M, Java.

• Preferred knowledge:

  • EDz development framework, ALM Quality Center, BMC Remedy.

  • Experience with methodologies and tools (CMMI, LEAN IT).

• Strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and teamwork skills.
