Job Description:

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician to join the Service Customer Repair department, working in the Greater Palmela area. The role operates on a shift schedule and will be based at a resident client.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on forklifts, including repairs, periodic inspections and modifications.

• Support customers by addressing needs, questions and correct equipment usage.

• Identify business opportunities within the assigned area.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines defined by the organisation.

• Carry out assembly, commissioning and customer training during the delivery of new machines.

• Complete all administrative tasks within the required deadlines (work orders, budget requests).

• Prepare reports on technical issues that may affect the safe operation of vehicles.

• Use, maintain and properly care for tools, equipment and PPE provided by the company.

• Manage materials and spare parts required for service tasks.

• Record incident openings and closures using the designated IT application.

• Suggest improvements to processes and working methods.

Requirements:

• Professional course (level 4) in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, electromechanics, mechanics or equivalent professional experience.

• Electrotechnical training or relevant experience is an advantage.

• Computer skills at user level (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• 1 to 2 years of professional experience.

• Proactive, responsible and versatile profile, with interest in teamwork and customer-focused service aligned with company objectives.
