Job Description:

We are looking for an Azure Systems Administrator to join a technology team at a client in the legal sector, with a hybrid working model in Lisbon. This professional will be responsible for administering, monitoring and automating environments based on the Microsoft Azure cloud, with a focus on security, performance and business continuity.

Responsibilities:

Administering Windows systems in the Azure cloud:

Administer resources and services in Microsoft Azure, including VMs, virtual networks, storage, Azure AD, and others.

Implement, configure and monitor cloud environments with a focus on performance and security.

Perform automation with scripts (PowerShell, CLI, ARM templates, Bice or Terraform).

Manage permissions, access policies and identity using Azure Active Directory

Monitor the integrity and performance of systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and related tools

Execute backup, recovery and business continuity strategies in the cloud.

Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices in cloud environments.

Documenting configurations, processes and changes to the environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in administering Windows systems in Azure environments (including VMs, virtual networks, storage, Azure AD, and others).

Proficiency with automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, Bicep or Terraform.

Solid knowledge of Azure AD, identity management and role-based access control (RBAC).

Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting using native Azure tools.

Interaction with systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and related tools. 

Backup, recovery and business continuity strategies in the cloud.
