Job Description:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Quarkus Backend Developer with experience in Java microservices development and familiarity with databases, cloud environments and containerisation. The person will join a team responsible for backend service development and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop microservices using Java and Quarkus.

• Work with relational and non-relational databases.

• Support integration of services with Kafka.

• Build and maintain Docker containers.

• Participate in Kubernetes-based service deployment.

• Contribute to DevOps practices within the team.

• Support integrations and deployments in AWS.

• Communicate clearly in Portuguese and English.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience.

• Experience developing microservices with Java and Quarkus.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

• Knowledge of Kafka.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of DevOps concepts.

• Experience working with AWS.

• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English.

Valued:

• Degree in Computer Engineering or related area.

• Knowledge of reactive programming (Mutiny, Hibernate Reactive).

• Experience with Angular.

• Java, cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
