Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Data Engineer to join a dynamic project focused on implementing and optimizing solutions using the Cloudera platform. The candidate must have proven experience in Cloudera stack tools such as Flow Management and Data Engineering in cloud and/or on-premise environments.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data pipelines using Apache NiFi (Cloudera Flow Management)

Work with Cloudera Data Engineering in large-scale environments

Write code in Python and PySpark to manipulate and transform data

Model data with SQL in relational database systems

Collaborate with international technical teams in an agile and constantly evolving environment

Adapt to new requirements and technologies quickly and autonomously

Contribute to the stability and scalability of the data infrastructure

Requirements:

- Degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or related field

- Minimum of 4 years in Data Engineer roles

- Proven experience in Cloudera Flow Management (Apache Nifi)

- Proven experience in Cloudera Data Engineering

- Experience with programming languages such as Python/PySpark

- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases

- Fluent level of English to communicate with international teams

- Excellent ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements, problem solving and analytical thinking

- Ability to communicate and work as part of a team

- Availability for hybrid work twice a week at the client's office in Lisbon or Porto

Valued Requirements:

- Knowledge of Cloudera Data Visualization

- Experience with other components of the Cloudera ecosystem, such as Cloudera Manager, Cloudera SDX, etc.

- Cloudera certifications
