Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science and over 10 years of proven experience in PL/SQL development. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in PL/SQL programming, Digital Transformation, and knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and DBEAVER.
Work Regime: Hybrid (on-site and remote)
Location: Lisbon

Responsibilities:

Analyze business and technical requirements to develop PL/SQL-based solutions; 

Develop, test, and maintain stored procedures, triggers, views, and PL/SQL packages; 

Optimize SQL queries to improve system performance; Analyze and resolve performance issues in Oracle systems; 

Collaborate with development and architecture teams to ensure scalable and efficient solutions; Ensure data integrity and apply best practices in data modeling and security; Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from analysis to implementation and post-production support; 

Document procedures, workflows, and change proposals; 

Provide technical support and guidance to other team members;

Analyze programs, impacts, and build technical documentation; 

Design and execute technical tests; Deploy to non-production environments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field;

Minimum 10 years of proven experience in PL/SQL development;

Experience in PL/SQL programming (preferably Informix 4GL);

Experience in Digital Transformation;

Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, DBEAVER, or similar tools;

Good interaction skills with functional analysis teams;

Ability to create technical documentation in English;

Experience with team management (a plus).
