System Administrator

Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior IT System Administrator (m/f)

Reporting directly to the IS/IT Management.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with international teams to implement both local and group-wide IT policies.
Manage the workstation infrastructure (Windows 11) and servers (Windows Server 2019 and 2022).
Administer the IT network, including hardware and software solutions (Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
Manage the backup solution (Veeam Backup and Replication) and oversee the backup management process.
Administer user accounts (Active Directory), email accounts (Office 365), and security solutions.
Manage the virtualization platform (VMware ESX 6.7).
Create and maintain scripts for task automation and software distribution.
Analyze trouble tickets, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues.
Prepare functional and technical specifications for the required system developments.
Develop, test, and document the implemented solutions.
Support the implementation of developments carried out by international teams or external vendors.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or specialized training in the field
Proven experience in system administration within a corporate environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
Experience in hardware and software installation
Experience in managing Azure and AzureAD
Solid experience in administering solutions such as VMware, Veeam, Anti-Virus, MS Active Directory, Office365, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and WSUS
Experience in configuring and managing Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls
Experience in task automation using scripting (VB Script / PowerShell)
Experience in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues
Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English
