Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join a challenging project focused on modern, event-driven architectures and real-time data processing. The environment is highly technical, with a strong component in microservices, event sourcing and data streaming.

Responsibilities:

Developing and evolving solutions based on .NET, with a focus on performance and scalability.

Design and implement integrations via event streaming (Kafka or equivalent).

Apply good event-driven architecture practices, ensuring reliability and resilience.

Use Event Sourcing on critical system components.

Working in a cloud environment (Azure), collaborating in Agile teams and with technical ownership.

Support and mentor more junior programmers in adopting good practices and modern standards.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent) from a higher education institution in Portugal or with equivalence recognized in Portugal.

Minimum of 10 years' experience in .NET development (ideally with .NET 6+).

At least 3 years' experience in microservices architecture.

Proven experience with event-driven solutions, using Kafka or equivalent technologies.

Practical knowledge of data streaming, such as Kafka Streams, ksqlDB or Spark Streaming.

Real experience with Event Sourcing, applied to at least one production project.

Good knowledge of Azure.

Ability to act with technical proactivity, team spirit and mentoring of less experienced profiles.

Experience in Agile environments, with a strong sense of technical responsibility.
