Job Description:

We are looking for a Support Consultant with solid experience in Z/OS, batch processing, and application support, capable of managing complex operations, resolving incidents, and optimizing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure operational and application activities as Level 2 Support (N2).

• Plan, execute, and supervise batch jobs via TWS and Control-M.

• Monitor Z/OS systems in real time, analyzing subsystem messages and logs (SDSF, OPS/MVS).

• Manage complex incidents, restart failed jobs, and apply corrections.

• Support application teams, coordinate interventions on critical resources, and control file transfers (Connect:Express).

• Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and performance reports.

• Participate in production releases and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

Z/OS (Level 2 | Priority 1)

• Monitoring of LPAR, JES2/JES3, TSO, CICS, DB2.

• Monitoring of CPU, memory, I/O, and job queues.

• Analysis of system messages via SDSF, OPS/MVS.

• Batch process management.

• Reporting and operational documentation.

E-GEN or similar (Level 1 | Priority 1)

• Change request management.

• Automatic generation of components and technical scripts (JCL, Shell, XML).

• Creation of operating manuals.

• Automatic adaptation to DEV, INT, PROD environments.

• Preparation for production releases, quality control, and validation.

• Reporting and documentation.

TWS (Level 2 | Priority 1)

• Job supervision and production plan monitoring.

• Incident management, restart of failed jobs, and log analysis.

• Escalation to application or Level 3 teams when necessary.

• Manual operations and on-demand job launches.

• Temporary modification of parameters to unblock flows.

• Transfer supervision.

DB2 (Level 2 | Priority 1)

• General knowledge of DBMS.

• Ability to read SQL and execute display commands on tables/utilities.

• Understanding the impact of actions on data and using logs to identify errors.
