Job Description:

We are looking for a .NET Developer with solid experience in backend development and event-based integration. The professional will work on the development and maintenance of microservices-based solutions with a strong focus on asynchronous communication using message brokers.

Responsibilities:

Develop applications using .NET, preferably .NET 6+

Implement and maintain event-driven integrations

Work with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)

Ensure reliability and resilience in message processing (e.g., retries, idempotency)

Collaborate in Agile teams, promoting software engineering best practices

Requirements:

- Higher education in Computer Engineering or equivalent, in a higher education establishment in Portugal or w/equivalence in Portugal.

- Minimum experience: 4 years in .NET development (ideally .NET 6+).

- Practical experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Service Bus or similar.

- Good knowledge of event-driven architectures: for example, you should know how to produce and consume events, handle failures, ensure reliability (e.g., at-least-once delivery, retries, idempotency).

- You must have worked in an ecosystem with microservices and integration via events.
