Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Storage and VMware Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our storage infrastructure and VMware environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information systems and proven experience in storage systems administration and VMware management.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain SAN and NAS storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Administer VMware environments, including vSphere, vSAN, and vCloud, handling tasks such as virtual machine creation, configuration, and monitoring. Implement and monitor data backup and recovery procedures for virtualized and storage environments. Configure and manage storage networks, including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and NFS protocols. Utilize monitoring tools to oversee storage and VMware systems, proactively addressing potential issues. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate storage solutions with other infrastructure components. Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in storage and virtualization to recommend improvements. Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

Education in Information Systems or a related field. Proven and solid experience in storage systems administration (SAN/NAS) and VMware. Certifications in VMware (VCP, VCAP) and storage technologies are highly desirable. Deep knowledge and understanding of storage architecture and functionality (NAS, SAN, iSCSI, NFS). Familiarity with storage and VMware monitoring tools. Experience in administering VMware vSphere, vSAN, and vCloud environments. Knowledge in networking, including protocols and network infrastructure to support storage. Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Willingness to stay updated with new technologies and trends in storage and virtualization. Fluent English: C1/C2
