Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a team focused on large-scale data solutions. The position is 100% remote, with a focus on AWS cloud, modern data engineering and lakehouse architectures.

Responsibilities:

Develop data pipelines using Spark, Python, SQL, and dbt.

Work with AWS Glue / EMR in data lake / lakehouse architectures.

Build and manage DAGs in Airflow for data orchestration.

Apply dimensional modeling and medallion architecture for analytics solutions.

Optimize data transformations and queries on large datasets.

Ensure data and pipeline quality, versioning, and documentation.

Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver reliable data.

Requirements:

- Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics or related areas;

- Professional experience in Python (min. 2 years);

- Pentaho experience (valued);

- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL / SQL Server), MongoDB, Oracle (min. 2 years);

- Solid knowledge of Data Warehousing modeling techniques;

- Experience with Power BI data visualization tool;

- Knowledge of Power Query and DAX;

- Experience of working in an Agile environment;

- Excellent ability to adapt;

- Ability to work under pressure;

- Good communication skills.
