Job Description:

We are looking for a Java Developer Mid for an opportunity to join and be part of the creation of a center of excellence for a multinational.

Responsibilities:

Actively participate in the development of robust backend applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.

Design and implement RESTful APIs following good architectural practices (e.g. microservices, hexagonal architecture).

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions for the financial sector.

Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance on existing systems, ensuring performance and reliability.

Creating optimized SQL queries and integrating solutions with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.

Working with JPA/Hibernate for efficient object-relational mapping.

Automating build, test and deploy processes using CI/CD tools.

Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum), contributing to estimates, code reviews and incremental deliveries.

Supporting integration with cloud platforms such as AWS, where applicable.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of the code, proposing refactorings and good development practices.

Requirements:

•Experience with Java Backend development with strong theoretical knowledge (Java >= 8) (3+ years for Mid profiles)

•Experience with Spring/Spring Boot

•Experience in RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL)

•Experience in JPA and Hibernate

•Knowledge in Application architecture (MicroServices based architecture, hexagonal…)

•Experience with CI/CD

•English proficiency should be at least B2 level

Ideally, the candidate should also have:

•Experience with Java Frontend (Angular or any other UI framework) 

•Experience with AWS or other cloud platform 

•Problem-solving skills and logical reasoning

•Passion for learning and growing as a developer

•Experience working in an Agile environment and Scrum methodologies
