Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with solid experience in software development, to contribute to the creation and delivery of robust, scalable technology solutions aligned with business needs and organisational quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance Java applications;

• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions;

• Develop, configure, customise, and integrate software according to specifications;

• Perform unit testing and ensure code quality;

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development lifecycle;

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent area;

• Fluency in English (spoken and written);

• 5+ years of experience in Java development;

• Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework;

• Experience using GIT for version control;

• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL);

• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices architectures;

• Ability to analyse and challenge requirements, ensuring feasibility and maintainability of solutions;

• Emotional maturity to handle feedback, uncertainty, and iterations.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins);

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
