Job Description:

The Knowledge Management Contractor will assist with the development and quality assurance of the new Seismic Services teamsite, meant to house KM resources primarily supporting our Sales and Consulting functions.

The Contractor will have the necessary skills to work independently and as part of a team. The role also requires a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

User experience design/configuration

• Replicate all Seismic landing pages for each user and navigation path, as defined by the project management team

• Check each landing page to ensure that folders, pages, and external hubs (e.g., Confluence, Sharepoint) are correctly linked

• Check each home page for grammar and formatting

Content metadata tagging and migration

• Support the migration and retagging of metadata for content from the old Seismic D&S team website to the new Services team website. This may consist of working closely with Seismic's technical team to learn how to bulk edit content metadata properties and manually upload them to the new folder structure in the backend (as defined by the Project Management team).

• Quality control of content migration to the correct folder destination

Content presentation

• Configure dynamic folders based on specific metadata/configuration rules to present appropriate content for different landing pages

• Quality control of content flow from back-end to front-end through dynamic folders based on tag triggers created for each dynamic folder (as defined by the Project Management team)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in quickly learning new systems (and/or proven experience with the Seismic platform)

• Strong knowledge of metadata management, document indexing or tagging proficiency

• Experience in UI/UX design and/or using platform tools to assemble landing pages

• Ability to critically evaluate UI/UX design for displaying correct and key information

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
