Job Description:

We are looking for a senior developer who is passionate about technology, with strong technical foundations and a mindset focused on sharing and growth. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in development, proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This is a role with impact: in addition to contributing technically to projects, you will also be expected to act as a mentor to more junior members of the team.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the development of robust and efficient technical solutions, based on different programming languages and paradigms.

Develop and optimize queries in SQL and PLSQL, with a focus on performance and readability.

Collaborate in database modeling and continuous improvement of data architecture.

Contribute to Core Banking projects, applying technical and business knowledge (if applicable).

Support and monitor the onboarding of new team members, setting an example and promoting best practices.

Work collaboratively in Agile environments, contributing to the continuous delivery of value.

Requirements:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role (4/5 years for Senior Profiles):

•The candidate must have at least one higher education degree (Must).

•Development experience with different technologies.

•Experience in SQL and PLSQL and ability to write and understand queries (Must).

•Experience in Core Banking (Plus).

•Experience in database modelling (Plus).

•Knowledge in programming languages (Procedural Programming or Object-Oriented Programming).

•English proficiency should be at least B2 level.

•They must have been living in Portugal for at least 1 and a half years (Must).

•Role model mindset, experience in onboarding junior team members, and used to do technical support of team members.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

•Problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.

•Passion for learning and growing as a developer.

•Experience working in an Agile environment and Scrum methodologies.

•Great team spirit, independency, pleasant attitude, great openness, and curiosity to learn.
