Job Description:

We are looking for an Azure Reliability Engineer (SRE Azure) with experience in cloud operations to ensure the availability, performance, and resilience of solutions deployed on Microsoft Azure. The professional will be responsible for designing, automating, and monitoring critical infrastructures, ensuring reliability and operational efficiency across production and development environments.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain highly available cloud infrastructures in Azure, focusing on resilience, scalability, and security.

• Ensure observability and continuous monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and proactive alerts.

• Automate operational tasks, deployment, and configuration processes through Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve service reliability, optimize costs, and prevent failures.

• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and definition of SLOs/SLIs.

• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps best practices, focusing on automation, observability, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with security, backup, disaster recovery, and governance policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Monitoring, Automation).

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).

• Experience in monitoring and reliability of cloud-native systems (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights).

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).

• Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills in high-availability environments.

Preferred

• Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, AZ-500).

• Experience with SRE practices, SLI/SLOs, chaos engineering, or performance tuning.

• Knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic Stack).

• Experience in hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud).
