Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist capable of defining and implementing governance models, ensuring quality, security, compliance, and data enhancement throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the Data Governance model (policies, processes, roles, and RACI);

• Implement and manage Data Catalog and Lineage, ensuring ownership and stewardship;

• Establish data quality standards, SLAs, and observability indicators;

• Ensure compliance and privacy-by-design (GDPR/LGPD), including access controls and masking;

• Conduct maturity assessments, evolution roadmaps, and quick wins;

• Promote data-driven education and culture, coordinating governance forums and executive alignment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data governance projects;

• Proficiency in Data Governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBoK, DCAM, COBIT, ISO, or similar);

• Strong knowledge of data quality, information security, and compliance (including GDPR and LGPD);

• Practical experience with Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Master Data Management (MDM);

•    Familiarity with tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Talend, among others;

•    Experience in maturity assessments and identification of improvements/quick wins.

Nice to Have

•    Experience in Data Mesh/Data Fabric and role/attribute-based access policies;

•    Knowledge of cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) for policy enforcement;

•    SQL/Python scripting for metadata automation and controls;

•    Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, ISO27001, CIPP/E).
