Job Description:

At Xtedder, we are helping our TELCO clients revolutionize their sector with cutting-edge technology. We are looking for a passionate Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about innovation and scalable development, who wants to be part of a highly collaborative, agile team focused on building robust solutions

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and optimize backend services in Java 8 up to 21 with microservices architecture in Linux environments.

Build and improve scalable and well-documented REST APIs.

Work with reactive programming technologies such as RXJava with VertX.

Integration through Kafka events.

Deploy and manage services in Google Cloud using Kubernetes and Docker.

Apply good development practices, automated testing (unit and integration), monitoring and DevOps principles.

Collaborate in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban, Spotify Model) and work in close communication with other developers.

Be part of a team where proactivity, learning and communication are key to success.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience developing in Java 8+.

Solid experience in microservices architecture and data integration (Hexagonal Architecture, Event Driven Design, DDD).

Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and container management tools.

Experience in cloud environments (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.).

Have worked in agile teams and be an autonomous and decisive person.

Passion for technology and curiosity to learn new tools and paradigms.

Native or fluent Spanish level (essential for this position).

We also value

Knowledge in RXJava, VertX, WebFlux or reactive programming frameworks.

Experience with SpringBoot, Java 21 and Virtual Threads.

Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

Experience in DevOps and CI/CD with Jenkins.

Mindset of clean code and good software architecture practices.
