Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Microservices Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and Quarkus, a solid understanding of databases, and a passion for working with cloud and DevOps technologies.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Quarkus;

Work with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring scalability and efficiency;

Manage containers with Docker for both development and production environments;

Collaborate on the implementation of DevOps practices and tools, including monitoring and performance analysis;

Develop innovative, scalable, and secure solutions;

Communicate effectively in both Portuguese and English, ensuring seamless collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;

Professional experience between 1 to 3 years, depending on seniority level;

Hands-on experience developing microservices with Java and Quarkus;

Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;

Practical experience with Docker;

Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies;

Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese.

 

 

Preferred Skills

Experience in reactive programming (e.g., Mutiny, Hibernate Reactive);

Knowledge of native compilation/GraalVM;

Familiarity with technologies like Kafka, Kubernetes, Openshift, Istio, and ELK;

Experience developing with React and Next.js for web applications;

Relevant certifications in Java or related technologies;

Fluency in English (both oral and written);

Previous experience in web and mobile application development;

Knowledge of web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js;

Familiarity with security technologies (authentication and authorization).
