Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled SOC Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the integrity and resilience of our organization's information systems.

Responsibilities:

Define a technological approach to address security operations challenges;

Develop, instantiate, and provide support for security platforms and systems that underpin operations;

Collaborate with the existing team to identify potential improvements in systems and implement solutions;

Perform regular assessments of systems to ensure proper integration and functionality;

Contribute to the architecture design of new security solutions;

Stay up to date with trends and technological developments relevant to the role;

Log and document all performed work.

Requirements:

Higher education in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience;

At least 1 year of experience in similar roles;

Strong problem-solving skills;

Scripting and programming skills (Python or equivalent);

Knowledge of cybersecurity and experience with SOC platforms;

Implementation and management of security platforms (XDR/EDR, SIEM, and SOAR);

Good knowledge of Linux operating systems;

Analytical mindset with critical and creative thinking;

Responsibility, proactivity, autonomy, and dynamism;

Ability to work in a team and manage multiple activities;

Ease in building trust-based relationships and communicating effectively.

Valued knowledge

Databases and logging systems;

Deep and low-level understanding of operating systems (Windows and UNIX);

Networking and security;

Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or other CI/CD technologies;

Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
