Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Lisbon, working in a hybrid model. The professional will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of critical infrastructure, with a strong focus on virtualization environments, backup solutions, and both Linux and Windows operating systems. We are seeking a proactive profile, with a strong focus on system reliability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain virtualization environments based on VMware (vCenter/vSphere, ESXi) and XCP-ng, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks for backup platforms:

- Veeam Backup (particularly in VMware environments);

- Bacula Community Edition.

Administer Linux and Windows operating systems, including Windows Server 2022, ensuring system stability and security.

Participate in the definition and implementation of security, backup, and disaster recovery policies.

Monitor system health and perform proactive and corrective maintenance as needed.

Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical documentation related to the infrastructure.

Collaborate with other technical and support teams in incident resolution and implementation of improvements.

(Desirable) Provide support in the configuration and management of Cisco Nexus and FS.com switches.

Requirements:

Solid skills in Computer Systems Administration in general, with particular emphasis on:

-VMWare (vCenter/vSphere, ESXi; including installation, configuration and administration)

-XCP-ng (including installation, configuration and administration)

-Veeam backup (mainly in the VMWare context; including installation, configuration and administration)

-Bacula Community Edition (including installation, configuration and administration)

-Linux system administration

-Windows system administration, including Windows Server 2022.

- Experience in configuring Cisco Nexus switches as well as FS.com is desirable but not mandatory.

- English spoken and written - B2
