Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a team responsible for developing and supporting a data platform. The selected candidate will work closely with the Data Architect to implement and maintain data products aligned with the proposed data architecture and governance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Data Architect to implement the data platform architecture.

• Design and build data pipelines using dbt, Trino, Spark and Python.

• Perform dimensional modelling and transform data for analytical use.

• Develop dashboards and reports (Power BI is a plus).

• Write SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing.

• Containerise workflows and support hybrid deployment models.

• Ensure data quality, consistency and compliance.

• Collaborate with development teams to test and validate data integrations.

• Contribute to cloud data migration initiatives (preferably Azure).

Requirements:

• Around 10 years of experience in the Data field, particularly as a Data Engineer.

• Experience in cloud migration projects (Azure preferred).

• Higher education degree (Bachelor’s and Master's are valued).

• Strong experience with dbt, Trino, Spark and Python.

• Solid SQL knowledge for data manipulation and analysis.

• Experience building reports and dashboards (Power BI is a plus).

• Understanding of data quality and governance practices.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
