SAP Basis Consultant

Job Description:

We are looking for a SAP Basis Consultant with experience in complex SAP environments to join a technical team responsible for the administration, evolution, and support of critical SAP systems. The ideal professional combines strong technical expertise, autonomy, and a focus on system stability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

SAP Administration and Operations

  • Install, configure, and administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA);

  • Manage SAP landscapes (DEV, QAS, PRD);

  • Monitor performance, availability, and capacity;

  • Apply Support Packages, Enhancement Packs, and SAP Notes;

  • Perform homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies.

Technical and Infrastructure Management

  • Administer SAP-supported databases (e.g., SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server);

  • Manage deployments and automation processes;

  • Configure and maintain technical interfaces;

  • Manage users and authorizations in collaboration with security teams;

  • Implement security best practices.

Continuity and Support

  • Analyze and resolve technical incidents;

  • Troubleshoot dumps, logs, and performance issues;

  • Support technical audits and compliance activities;

  • Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies;

  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Projects and Evolution

  • Participate in implementation, upgrade, and migration projects;

  • Support S/4HANA conversion initiatives;

  • Provide technical support for RISE with SAP initiatives (when applicable);

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the SAP landscape.

Requirements:

  • Senior experience in Sap Basis 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field;

  • Proven experience in complex SAP environments;

  • Strong technical knowledge of SAP system administration;

  • Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems;

  • Experience in system monitoring and performance tuning;

  • Experience in SAP upgrade, migration, or S/4HANA conversion projects (preferred);

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (nice to have);

  • SAP Basis or other relevant technical certifications (preferred);

  • Fluent English (minimum level B);

  • Portuguese and/or Spanish (preferred).
