Job Description:

We are looking for a Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD, to join the team of a leading company. The professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and automated platforms, ensuring stability and continuous improvement of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Platform Development and Management: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, high-performance platform solutions using Kubernetes and other relevant tools (Istio, Argo CD, Crossplane, API Gateways, Kibana).

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software development and deployment, ensuring efficient automation and integration practices.

• Manage and maintain the operational integrity of production and development systems, with a focus on automation and stability.

• Develop bash/python scripts and other automation tools to improve processes and optimize operational efficiency.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and project managers, to ensure platform stability and project success.

• Use Jira and Confluence to record the status of your deliveries and related technical documentation.

• Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Lead efforts to resolve platform-related issues and drive resolutions efficiently, contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience;

• Experience in AWS resource administration;

• Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Significant experience in DevOps and Observability practices and tools.

• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.

• Experience in systems administration (preferably in Linux environments).

• Advanced proficiency in bash scripting for automation and process optimization.

• Certifications in relevant areas will be considered an asset.

• Fluent Portuguese;

• Fluent English.
