QA Automation Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience in test automation for complex software platforms, focusing on quality, continuous integration, and backend services validation.
Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and user stories to define strategies and automated test scenarios.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
Execute automated tests and report results clearly and in a structured manner.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Configure and maintain test infrastructures using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to identify and resolve defects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes.
Produce documentation and test execution reports.
Define and evolve QA automation strategy, support decisions on test architecture and tools, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Test Automation.
Experience in test automation for complex software platforms.
Proficiency in automation frameworks and languages such as Java with REST Assured, Python with PyTest, Robot Framework, Playwright, or Cypress.
Solid experience in testing REST APIs and backend services.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design, and defect lifecycle.
Solid skills in SQL and database validation with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Fluent in English (mandatory).
Fluent or native in Portuguese (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
