Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Node.js and backend development to join a multinational media company. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, and collaboration across technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software that supports product and business goals.

• Provide constructive code reviews and contribute to team improvement.

• Deliver production-ready, maintainable code.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and coverage.

• Integrate software with monitoring and support tools.

• Create and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.

• Actively participate in agile planning, delivery, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to design solutions and break down features into actionable tasks.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, including 3+ years with Node.js.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Experience with frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or Fastify.

• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).

• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (preferably AWS, including Lambda, CodePipeline, and CDK).

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Minimum English level: B2.

  Nice to Have

  • Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or similar)
