Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer, with a solid background in backend development with Java EE, to join a highly relevant project in a corporate environment. The ideal professional should have at least 7 years' experience with Java and proven mastery of the main technologies in the Java EE ecosystem.

This is a remote opportunity, with preference given to candidates based in Portugal.

Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining business applications based on Java EE (Java 7).

Implement interfaces using JSF/PrimeFaces, ensuring usability and performance.

Manage data persistence with JPA/Hibernate, focusing on the integrity and efficiency of database operations.

Create and maintain EJB components and integrate functionalities with CDI.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Use SVN for version control and collaborate in shared development environments.

Analyze and optimize SQL queries, guaranteeing performance in robust data systems.

Participating in requirements analysis, technical design and validation tests.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in Java;

Mandatory solid experience with Java EE (Java 7), JSF/Primefaces, JPA/Hibernate, EJB, CDI, Agile, SVN, SQL.
