Job Description:

We are looking for a Web Frontend Senior Developer to collaborate with our team on new initiatives. This role involves working across the front-end stack and developing components in ReactJS, leveraging cross-team API services to enhance the SDUI Component Library.

Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with Staff Developers and Engineering Managers to deliver world-class components that are scalable and flexible for our business partners.

•Develop a deep understanding of our libraries and applications, understand their strengths and weaknesses and work with the team to provide solutions to address those challenges and streamline our development of component solutions.

•Assist in the development of software components to enhance our portfolio.

•Construct design documents and documentation to aid in maintenance and code reuse. 

•Through your knowledge of industry trends and tools, together with your own experiences, work with the team to improve our software, our environment, and our process.

•Work with the development team and technical leads to tear down obstacles and keep initiatives on target and moving forward.

•Coaching and Mentorship to junior developers

•       Provide technical guidance and support in resolving critical issues. 

•       Construct design documents and documentation to aid in maintenance and code reuse. 

•       Lead in solution design session to create the solution design diagrams and documentation.

•       Offer your input and expertise to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

🔹At least 7 years of experience with FrontEnd development and creating reusable components.

🔹Technologies we use and expect you to have experience with: HTML5, CSS3, modern TypeScript, React with Next.js, testing libraries, REST services, Storybook, Shadcn (Radix UI) and Tailwind CSS (although not limited and we are generally open to exploring new technologies).

🔹Knowledge of good practices and WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.

🔹Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab.

🔹Experience developing scalable, high-traffic, production-ready applications.

🔹Experience developing complex applications in collaborative environments.
