Job Description:

IT Platform Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure automation, hybrid cloud, Infrastructure as Code, and platform modernization, to join the global Corporate Design & Development team. The main focus will be to build, maintain, and evolve a highly automated cloud environment, supported by DevOps practices and platform engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Engenharia de Plataforma

Desenhar, desenvolver e operar soluções de infraestrutura robustas, sobretudo em AWS e Nutanix, garantindo disponibilidade, escalabilidade e segurança.

2. Automação e Scripting

Criar e manter automações usando Python, Bash, PowerShell ou Ansible/Rundeck, incluindo desenvolvimento de REST APIs e fluxos automatizados para provisionamento e gestão de infraestrutura. 

3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Utilizar frameworks como Terraform, CloudFormation ou CDK para padronizar e automatizar a criação de ambientes cloud e híbridos.

4. Otimização de Infraestrutura

Modernizar sistemas legados para ambientes cloud, otimizando performance, custos e fiabilidade operacional.

5. Trabalho Colaborativo

Colaborar com equipas de service delivery, data analytics, integração e arquitetos para garantir um ecossistema coerente e seguro. 

6. Documentação & Best Practices

Criar documentação técnica, padrões operacionais e guidelines, garantindo consistência e compliance em todo o landscape de infraestrutura.

Requirements:

 
  1. Platform Engineering
    Design, develop, and operate robust infrastructure solutions, primarily on AWS and Nutanix, ensuring availability, scalability, and security.
  2. Automation and Scripting
    Create and maintain automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible/Rundeck, including the development of REST APIs and automated workflows for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    Use frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to standardize and automate the creation of cloud and hybrid environments.
  4. Infrastructure Optimization
    Modernize legacy systems into cloud environments, optimizing performance, cost, and operational reliability.
  5. Collaborative Work
    Collaborate with service delivery, data analytics, integration, and architecture teams to ensure a coherent and secure ecosystem.
  6. Documentation & Best Practices
    Create technical documentation, operational standards, and guidelines, ensuring consistency and compliance across the entire infrastructure landscape.
