Job Description:

The Microsoft 365 Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting Microsoft 365 services and solutions across the organization. This role ensures secure, efficient, and reliable collaboration and productivity tools, while optimizing performance and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Exchange Online and/or Exchange On-Premises environments (including hybrid setups) and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Manage mail flow, connectors, policies, anti-spam, etc.
• Manage compliance: DLP, AIP, Retention Policies, Purview [Microsoft Information Protection & Devices].
• Monitor the performance, availability, and security of email services.
• Implement and maintain email policies, retention rules, and compliance configurations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to email flow, user access, and system errors.
• Administer Exchange Online Protection (EOP), spam filtering, and threat management.
• Support user onboarding/offboarding processes, mailbox creation, and license management.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate email systems with other business applications.
• Ensure data protection and disaster recovery strategies for email systems.
• Document procedures, configurations, and system changes.

• Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Promodag environments.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, and PowerShell scripting (groups, role assignment, conditional access).
• Experience in email security and compliance, including DLP, AIP, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, and Purview.
• Task automation (provisioning, reporting, policies).
• Azure fundamentals for managing Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Ability to create internal scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• High resilience, assertiveness, and proactivity.

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MS-203) are a plus.
