Job Description:

The Appian Developer will support the implementation of the Appian BPM platform, with a strong focus on lift‑and‑shift migration of existing IBM BAW processes to Appian, following architectural standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and configure Appian applications, workflows, and interfaces.
• Migrate business processes from IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) to Appian, ensuring functional equivalence.
• Translate existing BAW process models, rules, and integrations into Appian equivalents.
• Develop reusable components, expressions, and rule objects aligned with platform standards.
• Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with EY architects, QA leads, and Bank SMEs during delivery.
• Support documentation and knowledge transfer to Bank teams / COE.

Requirements:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Appian (SAIL, Process Models, Rules, Integrations).
• Prior experience migrating or re‑platforming workflows from IBM BAW (or IBM BPM) to Appian.
• Solid understanding of BPM concepts, decision logic, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience working in regulated banking environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to work within a fixed‑scope, fixed‑fee delivery model.
