Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager with a strong business mindset and a solid technical background. This role focuses primarily on leadership, decision-making, and alignment between engineering and business goals.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Define technical direction and architectural standards for large-scale distributed systems

• Review designs, challenge decisions, and support teams through complex trade-offs

• Ensure technical decisions align with business goals, scalability, and long-term sustainability

People & Delivery Leadership

• Lead and develop engineering teams, including performance management and career development

• Drive execution through planning, dependency, risk, and priority management

• Maintain delivery focus in remote and hybrid environments

Business & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main interface between engineering teams and business leadership

• Align technical execution with strategic priorities and manage conflicting expectations

Requirements:

• • At least 2 years of experience testing native mobile applications on iOS or Android.

  • More than 5 years of professional experience.

  • Experience creating tests with XCUITest, Espresso, or another mobile testing framework.

  • Experience with Swift or Kotlin/Java.

  • Solid knowledge of mobile testing practices and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Proven ability to collaborate and work closely with developers, UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

  • Excellent communication skills and experience in cross-team problem-solving.

  • Comfortable working in agile and cross-functional teams, with experience in planning, executing, and reporting on testing strategies.

  • Minimum C1 level English.

   

  Desirable:

  • Experience with Pact contract testing.

  • Experience using Qase or a similar test management tool.

  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.

  • Experience configuring and running jobs in a continuous integration tool such as Codebuild or GitHub Actions.
