Job Description:

We are looking for a Backend Tech Lead with a strong backend engineering background and experience leading engineering teams. This role combines technical leadership, system design, people management, and delivery ownership.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership to backend engineering teams

• Guide system architecture and design decisions for large-scale distributed systems

• Support and oversee technical delivery, ensuring quality and reliability

• Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders

• Manage priorities, dependencies, and delivery risks

• Support performance management and career development of team members

• Contribute to planning, sequencing, and progress tracking

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot

• Previous experience leading or managing engineering teams

• Ability to guide teams working on complex distributed systems

• Solid system design skills aligned with high technical standards

• Experience with performance management and career development

• Comfort working in remote or hybrid setups with time zone flexibility

• Experience with planning, dependency management, and risk assessment

Nice to Have:

• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with people leadership

• Experience with agile delivery at scale

• Experience working in environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities
