Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Developer with expertise in Java and Quarkus, focused on backend development with modern cloud-native technologies and reactive programming. You will be part of an engineering team building scalable microservices-based platforms using containers and cloud services (Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities:

Design and implement Java-based microservices with Quarkus;

Build reactive applications using Mutiny, Hibernate Reactive, and similar tools;

Leverage native compilation with GraalVM for performance optimization;

Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure continuous integration and delivery;

Operate applications in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift);

Participate in cloud-based deployments on Azure;

Support technical documentation and promote best practices across the team.  

Requirements:

- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar

- At least 6 years' professional experience

- Experience in developing microservices with Java and Quarkus

- Experience in reactive programming (Mutiny, hibernate reactive, etc.)

- Experience in native compilation/GraalVM

- Relational and non-relational databases

- Docker

- Kubernetes

- Openshift

- Azure

- Knowledge of DevOps

- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in Portuguese

Nice to have:

- Experience in Kafka

- Experience in Istio

- Experience in ELK

- Experience in React

- Experience in Next.js

- Java certifications

- Cloud-related certifications
