Job Description:

We are looking for a Functional QA to join our software quality team. The professional will be responsible for validating functionalities, ensuring application quality, and collaborating with development and business teams on agile projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze functional requirements and participate in specification reviews;

• Develop, execute, and maintain functional test cases;

• Perform regression and exploratory testing;

• Identify, log, and track defects until resolution;

• Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues;

• Ensure that delivered systems meet quality criteria and user expectations;

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes;

• Create and maintain test documentation and quality reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Functional QA or in software testing;
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies;
• Experience in creating test cases and executing functional tests;
• Experience in reporting and tracking defects;
• Knowledge of test and defect management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.);
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and results-oriented;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Residence in Portugal and availability for hybrid or remote work (according to company policy).

Valued:

• Experience with automated testing (even basic);
• Knowledge of API testing;
• Experience in the company's specific sector (e.g., finance, healthcare, energy, etc.).
