Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical Support Consultant – Data Center with experience in hardware maintenance and infrastructure operations to join the Data Center Management team for a client based in Lisbon. The professional will be responsible for equipment installation, maintenance, and technical support, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability within the Data Center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hardware troubleshooting and problem resolution.

• Install and configure servers, routers, power systems, environmental monitoring devices, and laptops.

• Handle cabling connections and maintain Data Center physical organization.

• Manage stock of spare parts, cabling, and technical equipment.

• Create technical documentation, procedures, and operational reports.

• Support knowledge transfer to other teams.

• Communicate effectively with clients and manage technical issues professionally.

• Collaborate with the operations team, ensuring timely and high-quality task execution.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hardware troubleshooting.

• Previous experience in Data Center support or maintenance roles (preferred).

• Solid knowledge of hardware components: servers, routers, power and environmental management systems, and laptops.

• Ability to research technical issues and coordinate with manufacturers.

• Experience in inventory and stock management.

• Competence in technical documentation and procedural writing.

• Strong communication and client management skills.

• Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to responsibilities.

• Team-oriented and motivated by technical problem-solving.
