Job Description:

We're looking for a Helpdesk professional to provide face-to-face support at a large University in Lisbon. The professional will be responsible for providing first-level assistance to users, resolving technical problems relating to hardware, software and networks, and ensuring that requests are recorded and followed up effectively.
Available to work in person between 12pm and 9pm.

Responsibilities:

Technical support, resolving computer problems and escalating when necessary.

Office and Windows support and software and hardware troubleshooting.

Remote support for diagnosing and resolving end-user problems.

Installation, configuration and maintenance of operating systems and applications.

Documenting new procedures and updating existing procedures.

Producing technical documentation to pass on to other teams.

Customer service with a focus on effective resolution and conflict management.

Collaboration with specialized teams to ensure continuity of service.

Adherence to schedules and occasional availability for holidays.

Managing tickets and prioritizing incidents according to impact and urgency.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Helpdesk or Technical Support roles;

Knowledge of hardware for diagnosing and replacing components. 

Experience with ticket systems for handling calls and registering demands;

Solid knowledge of Windows, Office 365, and remote access tools;

Familiarity with Active Directory, basic networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and corporate antivirus;

Good communication skills and user orientation;

Fluency in English from B2 level (comprehension, reading and conversation).
