Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with experience in designing and developing backend services using NestJS and TypeScript. The role includes building RESTful APIs, integrating with relational databases, and ensuring security, performance, and scalability in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and architect backend services using NestJS, applying modular design, dependency injection, and middleware management.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs integrated with relational databases through TypeORM or Prisma ORM.

• Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, and promote best practices in software development and architecture.

• Maintain a focus on security, performance, and scalability.

• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional agile teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with TypeScript and NestJS in backend API development.

• Strong understanding of React.js, including hooks and state management.

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and ORM tools (TypeORM).

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment in cloud environments.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

• Knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure is an advantage.
