Job Description:

We are looking a COBOL Developer to contribute to a software development project for a major bank.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications written in COBOL, ensuring their stability and performance. Analyze requirements and propose technical solutions to enhance existing systems. Perform testing, debugging, and code optimization to ensure application reliability. Integrate COBOL systems with modern technologies when necessary. Document code, processes, and workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient solution delivery.

Requirements:

Proven experience in COBOL development. Knowledge of relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server, or Oracle. Familiarity with JCL, CICS, and large-scale systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
