Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior API and Integration Architect with experience in integration platforms and API design, to join a project in the Energy & Utilities sector, focusing on integration governance, standards definition, and solution design.

Responsibilities:

• Define and document integration platform governance guidelines in collaboration with senior teams
• Design and specify APIs and application integrations
• Analyze business requirements and align them with the reference architecture
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards and governance rules
• Collaborate with technical teams and global stakeholders
• Support the definition of integration best practices and market trends
• Produce clear and structured documentation
• Ensure alignment with security and technology architecture requirements
• Contribute to the design of low-complexity integrations

Requirements:

• Up to 10 years of experience as an API/Integration Architect or similar role
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
• Strong knowledge of integration platforms and standards (e.g., APIs, middleware)
• Experience in defining integration architecture and related components
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working in collaborative and global environments
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (nice to have)
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence (nice to have)
• Knowledge of Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR (nice to have)
• Understanding of application and technology architecture

• English is mandatory; Portuguese and Spanish are a plus
