Job Description:
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Analyst to join the data team and contribute to analytical solutions that support strategic decision-making. The role includes developing dashboards, data modelling, ETL processes and collaboration with multiple business teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop dashboards, reports and analytical models in Power BI using DAX, Power Query and sound visualisation practices.
Build and maintain data models, including dimensional modelling and semantic models.
Execute ETL processes, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Work with SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL for data preparation, manipulation and analysis.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI.
Use SSIS for data integration from different sources.
Produce clear documentation for processes, metrics and calculation logic.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum).
Gather requirements with stakeholders, define KPIs and translate business needs into BI solutions.
Monitor performance, identify anomalies and propose improvements to reporting processes.
Requirements:
Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, M language, data modelling, dashboards and RLS).
Experience with SQL Server, PL/SQL and T-SQL.
Knowledge of ETL, Data Warehouse, SSIS and data governance practices.
Experience in dimensional modelling and semantic model design.
Advanced Excel; VBA knowledge is a plus.
Basic Python for statistical analysis.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence.
Academic background in Data, Engineering, Computer Science or similar; postgraduate studies in Analytics or BI preferred.
Power BI, SQL or data modelling certifications are valued.
Hybrid model (4x) and preferred location: Linda‑a‑Velha.
Employment contract preferred.
