Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant with strong experience in Microsoft BI solutions to lead the analytics area in digital transformation projects within the government sector in Portugal. The challenge involves integrating and guiding the BI team with a focus on information modeling, Big Data, and Power BI dashboarding, while defining the reference architecture for IT solutions supporting PT2030.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Business Intelligence area in digital transformation projects.

• Integrate and coordinate the BI team, ensuring collaboration and technical consistency.

• Design and implement modern Microsoft BI architectures.

• Work with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, and Azure Synapse.

• Support data modeling and structuring in Big Data environments.

• Define and document the reference architecture for PT2030 IT solutions.

• Contribute to project analysis, planning, and execution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence projects with the Microsoft suite.

• Proven team leadership experience across different contexts and clients.

• Proficiency with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, and Azure Synapse.

• Experience in designing and implementing modern BI architectures.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly valued.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem-solving and project management abilities.

• Fluency in Portuguese and English, written and spoken.
