Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Quarkus Backend Developer with strong experience in Java microservices and knowledge of distributed architectures, cloud environments and DevOps practices. The person will join a team supporting backend services in production.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop microservices using Java and Quarkus.

• Define and optimise data models in relational and non-relational databases.

• Integrate services with Kafka and support architectural decisions.

• Build and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.

• Contribute to automation and DevOps practices.

• Support integrations and deployments in AWS.

• Collaborate with other technical teams.

•  

• Communicate effectively in Portuguese and English.

Requirements:

• • Minimum 6 years of professional experience.

  • Advanced experience with Java and Quarkus.

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

  • Experience with Kafka.

  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.

  • Experience with AWS.

  • Strong communication in Portuguese and English.

  Valued:

   

  • Degree in a technology-related field.

  • Experience with reactive programming (Mutiny, Hibernate Reactive).

  • Experience with Angular.

  • Java, cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
