Job Description:
We're looking for a highly qualified Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic, high-impact project in the healthcare sector in Portugal. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, controlling budgets and leading all phases of the project with high visibility.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Drive the successful delivery of all project phases, from planning to execution, monitoring, and final delivery. Stakeholder & Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment, satisfaction, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Team Management: Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes. Scope & Risk Management: Define, control, and manage project scope; proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks. Budget & Financial Control: Manage and budget report, ensuring efficient and transparent use of resources. Quality Assurance: Ensure the project is delivered to the highest standards, meeting all predefined objectives, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Project Management certifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, ScrumMaster preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end project management, ideally in public sector or education-related environments. Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex project scopes under tight deadlines. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory) Hybrid work availability, with frequent presence in Lisbon. Preferred Skills Agile Methodologies: Practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative delivery frameworks. Strategic Planning & Organization: Ability to structure and execute plans across multiple workstreams with precision. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset and capacity to respond to challenges with resilience and creativity. Change Management: Ability to manage resistance, align teams, and foster a culture of adaptability. Influence & Motivation: Ability to inspire teams, mediate conflicts, and maintain engagement through all project stages.
